Welcome to Macarthur Collegians Cycling
Macarthur Collegians Cycling Club is one of the most progressive clubs in NSW with a growing membership and three major cycling events in the domestic cycling calendar. This includes the two day Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic which began in 1902 and was resurrected in 2005 after a several year absence.
Located in south-western Sydney the club has two racing locations, an undulating out and back course at Menangle and a criterium circuit at Smeaton Grange near Narellan. The club also runs an annual open invitational hill-climb time trial on Razorback Mountain and the Macarthur Open criterium at Smeaton Grange.
Trial race at Macquiarie Fields Tri Circuit
The MCCC is considering holding a trial race at the Macquarie Fields Tri circuit track on Saturday Feb 11th, starting at 1400 hours (2pm). This meet will only go ahead if we get an indication of interest from members. This is an additional race to the calendar, and will not replace the usual race on 12th Feb Sunday morning. I have put a notice on FB and the responses have been few, but positive so far.. Let me know, either via email or on FB if you would be willing to participate. I still have to confirm with council as to the availability of the circuit, but at this stage it looks to be feasible.
More info to come.
Regards,
Kev Fisher.
