Macarthur Club Championships
The MCCC club championship series comprises four races run throughout the winter season. The series starts with an all in Elimination Criterium at Smeaton Grange. This involves all riders starting at the same time with the last rider/s crossing the finish line being eliminated each lap after a set time has elapsed. The next event is a 17km Individual Time Trial at the Menangle road course where it is each man against the clock, no hiding there. Then there is the 3.8km Hill climb Time Trial on theOld Razorback Rd, Razorback where legs and lungs will be tested. Finally there is a 51km all in scratch race again at the undulating Menangle road course. The championship is points based, with points allocated to the first fourty riders in each event. Points are also given to all starters of each race. The championship is only open to MCCC members, however all riders are welcome in both of the time trials. The rider with the highest amount of accumulated points will be recognised at the end of year function as that years Club Champion.
