Razorback Hill Climb Time Trial
Part of the route for the Goulburn-Sydney Cycle Classic
The course consists of a 3.8 km climb of the northern face of the mountain on Old Razorback Road which is the final climb of the Goulburn-Sydney Cycle Classic. The race will also double as the third round of the Macarthur Collegians Club Championship although entry from all riders is welcome.
The time trial will start from the intersection of Cawdor Rd and Old Razorback Rd and conclude where Old Razorback Rd joins Mt Hercules Rd (See UBD map 363 map ref C8). The road increases in elevation by 220 metres over the length of the course at an average gradient of 5.8%. However the final kilometre averages 10% with a maximum of 16% and this is where the race will be decided.
